It was manufactured in January 1970 at the Daini Seikosha factory , making it one of the last models of the Presmatic series before Seiko replaced it with the more efficiently designed 56xx caliber family. The caliber 5146A used in the watch is a technically advanced automatic movement with 27 jewels and
